Whether you’ll be exploriing botanical gardens, fresh brewed tea, going on nature walked and driving through curved roads that snake through  greenery, you are fix to have a wonderful time in the Nilgiri hills.

Here’s a guide to your first trip to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka that includes – Coonoor, Coimbatore, Ooty and Mysore. Let’s Start

Trip for 4-days  to Tamil Nadu

  • Day 1 – Arrive at Coimbatore Airport from Hyderabad.
  • Day 2 – Travel to Coonoor.
  • Day 3 – Travel to Ooty.
  • Day 4 – Left mysore

Right Time to Visit Tamil Nadu

Winter is best for exploring the Tamilnadu State. Due to the, the weather of Ooty & Coonoor is always best. April to June is best  tourist months for Ooty and Coonoor, I stand  with the summer vacation for kids, making it the perfect time for families to plan a trip.

Day 1 – In Coimbatore

First we think we should start with Isha Foundation, it is very peaceful there and we think it is a good plan.

We landed at Coimbatore airport and reached the bus station in an Ola cab. We landed at. From there, there are many buses available to Isha Foundation or you can take a cab.

We went to Isha Foundation at 1.15 PM and went straight to the room as we had booked a room there earlier. First of all, we have to say that the atmosphere there is amazing, the cleanliness inside the foundation and the garden are amazing. The colorful flowers and their fragrance captivated us.

First of all, I would like to request all of you, whoever visits Isha Foundation, it would be good if they spend at least one night there. The first thing we should mention in Isha Foundation is the Dhyanalinga. That place is very suitable for meditation, Here you will hear good spiritual teachings, there is no peace in the world beyond meditation. There is a playground for children, drumming and traditional dances are performed here during the daily part.

There is one thing that I personally don’t like here, a Sadhguru is never a teacher but a teacher, not God. Sadhguru means the connection between God and the devotee. I have seen posters of Sadhguru everywhere in the Isha Foundation.

What I like here is that they pray before meals and then everyone sits on the floor and eats. Here, castes and religions are not considered, everyone is equal. Those who cannot eat here can eat outside the Foundation.

If you want to see any other places in Coimbatore, first you should visit Sri Patishwarar Temple and GD Car Museum. Don’t forget Siruvani Waterfalls and Monkey Waterfalls, especially during the monsoon season. They will give you a good experience.

Day 2 – Trip to Coonoor

.  Coonoor offers stunning views of the surrounding hills, lush greenery, and cascading waterfalls, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. The town also boasts colonial-style architecture, adding to its picturesque charm.

Day 3 – View of Nilgiris on Toy Train – Everyone should experience this.

Who’s in charge of the train today?

  • We went Ooty by travelling in the early morning toy train.
  • Doddapetta Top is the highest mountain in the Nilgiris. We got an indescribable feeling while traveling on the Nilgiris mountain. The nature here is very amazingly beautiful. Here the birds’ cries are a pleasure to listen to.
  • When you go to the city, there are tea and chocolate factories, you must visit them, not only visit but also take tea and chocolates to your family members and acquaintances.
  • Travel across Pakara Lake, the first sight will leave you spellbound.
  • While traveling across the lake, be sure to view the pine forest, eucalyptus, shooting spots and tourist spots.

Day 4 – We reached Mysore via Bandipur National Park

  • After an early morning walk, we left for Mysore, which is a beautiful place..
  • Bandipur National Park in Mysore is very amazing. It is a vast place.
  • Another top attraction in Mysore is Raja’s Palace. No one should miss this place.
  • We left Mysore and reached Bangalore. We reached Hyderabad from Bangalore airport and returned home.
